About Lisa

Lisa Williamson is a Canadian writer. Her work is a collection of her engagement in travel, visiting 27 countries, and looking forward to exploring more. Capturing the essence of culturally diverse cuisine. Admiring art and music. She focuses on the historical content and writes stories reflecting her experiences embellished with creativity. 

Lisa is originally from Saskatchewan, and her Ukrainian heritage was a focal point of her childhood. She started writing stories and music at a young age, incorporating the storytelling passed down from each generation about the journey of life and lessons through time. She resides in Alberta. Lisa graduated from The University Of Calgary, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a Major in History and a Minor in English and Creative Writing. 

Lisa held positions in the corporate and private sectors for decades. The cumulative experiences in education and work have developed into a full-time writing career. She spends half her time in the city, in Alberta, and the other half on a ranch in British Columbia that she shares with her husband and children, where she enjoys gardening and recharges her creativity.
